wooo hooo! NO SCHOOL!!!
no ice either – soooooooo. mini and paul are running some errands (buying boots for the impending bad weather).
we’ll be creating gingerbread houses (mini got a gingerbread tree) which has inadvertantly become a tradition. this will be our 5th or 6th year of creating edible homes (just what i need – one more edible something). actually – i wouldn’t eat one of these if someone paid me (ok – there is a price where i would eat just about anything).
me – played piano with the fire burning in the fireplace while looking at the beautiful ice trees outside. what a glorious day!

I think you enjoyed the day off a little more than I did — I sat around all day trying to justify all the districts closing schools while my boys wrestled (boys!), fought, and oh yeah — made “traps” out of everything in sight around the house. Why is it they always choose to do this just after I’ve cleaned the house? lol
i know days like that. no fun.
. guess who got to clean that up?
