It’s hard not to feel “stretched” during this time of year.
Was wondering if anyone would even notice if I didn’t send out Christmas cards this year.
We haven’t sent one for several years now. We enjoyed sending them – but the work of putting it together was also a pain. I have pondered using a blog to post our Christmas letter.
we’ve never sent out bulk christmas cards either. i always feel bad about that when we get these cute cards with family info for the year and pictures to match.
i truly admire you organized folks. we’re trying to pull it together and send a card this year – i’m worried we’ll forget someone. we’ll see if we actually get anything into the mail!
Simplicity and all variations of the root word “simple,” are on my favorite word list.
Not sending out Christmas cards this year. I did last year. Maybe I’m falling into an every other year pattern. I do love getting pictures of other people during the Christmas season. I’m not always as crazy about the letters.
the problem i find with christmas cards/letters is the generic quality of them. I’m not very good at mindless talking so writing those letters is a real chore. I’ve actually written a couple that weren’t up to par for family. Finding those appropriate guidelines and staying in them is more difficult when it comes to maintaining family perceptions.
